What is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)?
Bioidentical Hormone Therapy is a form of hormone replacement therapy designed to mimic the structure of your body’s natural (endogenous) hormones.

Step 1 - Initial Consultation
Your journey begins with detailed consultation, where we discuss your symptoms, medical history and goals. This allows us to determine whether Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy is suitable for you.
Step 2 - Blood Testing
We carry out comprehensive blood testing in clinic to assess your hormone levels. This allows us to identify not only deficiencies, but also sub-optimal levels - even when results fall within standard reference ranges.
Step 3 - Personalised Hormone Analysis
Your results are analysed in detail to understand exactly what your body needs.​ Where appropriate, we can support hormone levels that are at the lower end of normal but may still be contributing to symptoms.
Step 4 - Compound Bioidentical Hormones
We work with a trusted private laboratory to produce your prescription as a compounded medication. ​This means your treatment can be tailored in both dosage and format to be a cream, capsule or liquid format whichever is your preference.
Step 5 - Ongoing Monitoring & Adjustments
Your treatment is closely monitored with regular follow-ups and repeat blood testing where required. This allows us to make precise adjustments, ensuring your treatment continues to meet your needs as your body changes.

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy is only prescribed following a full clinical assessment. All patients must meet appropriate medical guidelines before treatment is initiated.
